We are a diverse group of girls and young women, part of the international family of Girls’ Brigade.
Girls learn new skills, earn badges, make new friends and have loads of fun all at the same time. Girl’s Brigade gives girls and young women the skills and self confidence to embrace life’s challenges and make a difference in the world. We believe in a balanced approach to life and so our programmes cover a selection of physical, social, educational and spiritual activities that link in with our motto to Seek, Serve and Follow Christ.
We have 3 age groups:
Juniors age 5-8 (school years 1-4)
Seniors age 9-12 (school years 5-8)
Pioneers age 13-18 (school years 9-13)

Our leaders are integral to the organisation being able to provide activities for girls in communities throughout West Auckland. We offer initial and ongoing training and support to ensure out leaders are well equipped to work with the girls. Why not join us now!
We welcome parents of our girls or any other members of the community who would like to share their skill, or simply volunteer to support the organisation.
What do the girls wear?
Girls wear a whole range of items including a polar fleece which has the GB logo on it. Girls also get to wear a sash for all the badges they earn.

What do leaders wear?
Leaders have an optional uniform, which most leaders wear on company meeting nights. Leaders also have a formal uniform to wear at special and official occasions.

To order a uniform check with your company, if you need to buy a new uniform, can buy a second hand one, or the company may have uniforms on a hire basis.
